This is one of my favourite songs. When the youth minister at my church (who was leaving) did his last sermon, we played this song after and all of us there were in tears. I could barely sing because I kept blubbering, and poor Julia on the drums couldn't play a single beat because she was too busy wiping her eyes. Fantastic song, it truly speaks to me how truly deep our heavenly Father loves us, even when our voices are among the scoffers.

Awesome song, speaking of the very core of our message as Christians. J just sang this special song at the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Nigeria. And lots of people were deeply moved by the message of the song. There were teary eyes. Such that I had to give the score away when they pressed for it.
I added a fourth stanza which goes:
"This is the message that we preach;
The mesage of salvation
His pious death upon the tree;
Victorious ressurrection
Why should we speak of anything else?
What hope may we now offer?
none, but the powr'ful name of Christ
His death and ressurection."
I hope it proves a worthy addition to that great song.

I love this song it exsplanes alot about how a christian is or should be and about God and his love is so strong i cant even speak the words or come up with words to say. But You know what kills me so much is to watch the novies passion of the christ and other movies like that and then still see people reject him and and make fun christians. Just seeing what he went through and how he died to save us and yet while we were still sinners Christ died for the un godly.
