Day by Day…
Day by day, endless sorrow, sometimes praise
Can’t see three feet beyond my face
over my shoulder, more I see the less I see the more I can conceive
days get long, nights are so cold
loneliness comes, peace and joy go
laying there, starring into the stars
wondering whats beyond this time, this breath, will I even shut my eyes
and rest
getting tired now, darkness seeps in from all corners, the voices are
back oh god let me rest
waking up, knowing it’s real but so much like my dreams, no rest for the
wicked I hear
must mean I’m pure evil
eyes burning
legs twitching
arms crying
soul longing
heart breaking
God, let me be free, let me find happiness, let me find what everyone
searches for, but hardly anyone finds, god I need more than I’m getting
and more than people even know… I know your hurting Father, I feel it
in my soul… I see the brokenness, and I hear the arguments in what the
world calls the church and what you see as play pens. Social clubs, the
everyday ‘church’ oh Lord how you desire for unity, for oneness of your
people. God I sit here, behind a computer, typing out things that must
seem to ramble, but Father I’m here, and I’m more than willing, do in my
life what you’d have do of your people. Lord open doors, close the
windows, Father you know my heart, you know the true longing of my very
soul. I’m willing to die for you, so let me, I’m able
Mmm…

When I am experiencing poem-inducing times of insomnia, I have nothing to rely on but God, as it seems is the case with you. I used to hate those nights when all I wanted was to shut off my mind and sleep but it wouldn’t come. Now, though, I use that as specific time the Father has arranged for me to spend with Him. He chose it! So, I surrender it to Him and it is in those times that He takes me deeper and closer… I think I learned to truly trust Him in that place between awake and asleep. Treasure it! Or, if you can’t be with Him then and your body needs sleep, tell Him and ask Him to be your Sleeping Pill.
Our Father is all about taking care of us; Amen?

Hey there, nice to see you back among these parts.
Isn’t it amazing how God can send people from all over the world to a single place in cyberspace to spread His Joy and Peace?
God has set a place this very day to arrange your life in a specific way. He’s using you in times when you don’t feel as if He’s even there, He wants you to know you’re doing as He needs even though times can seem so bare.
I just want to thank you for blessing me in your words, may the Lord truly touch and reveal more of Himself to you.
Love in Christ, and can’t wait to sit back in eternity and talk face to face.
